Our classroom is expanding opportunities for students to engage in STEM through hands-on 3D printing projects. Filament is the essential material that makes this learning possible, allowing students to transform digital designs into real-world objects. With filament, students can create engineering prototypes, classroom tools, and artistic models that build confidence and inspire creativity. This work directly connects to math, science, and technology standards while also fostering collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Without filament, our printer sits idle, and valuable learning experiences are lost. This grant would provide the supplies needed to ensure every student has access to meaningful, project-based learning that links academic concepts to real-world applications and future career pathways.
