Putting together a puzzle in the library's Creative Corner is a way to get high school students into the library. By having access to puzzles (before and after school and during lunch) students are able to associate enjoyment with the library. Our library is not just a place for academic tasks, but filled with wonder and learning. Students really have fun putting together the puzzles and are so proud of themselves. It has almost become a competition. Some groups can literally complete a 500 piece puzzle in one week! The puzzle images have to do with educational themes, but the students find the subjects interesting on a puzzle! Due to budget constraints, the puzzles are being constantly repeated. It would be amazing to have a plethora of puzzles that they have not completed before!
