Project introduces Chemistry students to real-time, quantitative investigation using Vernier pH probes. Rather than relying primarily on provided data, students will collect and analyze their own data to identify relationships, develop models, and construct evidence-based explanations. Students use the probes to investigate acids and bases, titrations, buffers, and equilibrium. The innovative aspect is that students can continuously monitor chemical systems and connect experimental observations to mathematical and particle-level models. This allows students to experience chemistry as scientists do - asking questions, collecting evidence, finding relationships, and revising models. I expect students to develop stronger data-analysis skills, deeper conceptual understanding, and greater confidence connecting laboratory evidence to Chemistry concepts. The probes allow me to provide more authentic, student-driven investigations and increase opportunities for students to use experimental data
