The money provided through this grant would go towards purchasing a monthly subscription to TIME for Kids Magazine. Students would each receive their own magazine with articles describing important events in the world of science, technology, government, and current events. This resource would help to inform students of issues in their local communities and nationwide while developing their critical thinking and literacy skills. This would also provide a resource for students to continue reading at home and provide opportunities for discussion with their families.
