This project will support a self-contained Emotional Impairment (EI) classroom by providing resources that enhance daily living skills, strengthen hands-on learning, and improve reading achievement. Grant funds will be used for cooking project materials to teach students essential life skills such as measuring, following directions, and working cooperatively. In addition, manipulatives will be purchased to build fine motor abilities, problem-solving, and independent task completion. Literacy resources, including leveled readers and interactive activities, will be incorporated to strengthen vocabulary, comprehension, and overall reading fluency.This grant will create engaging, hands-on experiences that prepare students with practical skills for independence while fostering academic growth in a supportive learning environment.
