We are in need of more light boxes in the art room here at Liberty. Ideally, we should have 1 for every table of 4 students to share. Light tables are great because they help students transfer sketches to their final project paper. Having a tracing table results in less waste of expensive papers and supplies, as students can create their ideas on inexpensive sketch paper (or newsprint) first, and then when the sketch is ready, they can trace it on the their final draft (more expensive) paper using the light boxes. Light boxes are great for all drawing and painting projects. We currently have 2.
