This proposal seeks funding to integrate hands-on, inquiry based science learning into my early childhood classroom. This project will provide age appropriate materials for my class, such as microscopes, resin specimens for children to observe, magnetic manipulatives, and materials to conduct experiments in a large group setting. Children are natural scientists. From the moment they begin to explore their world, they question, test, and discover. Early exposure to science builds not only knowledge but also critical thinking, language, and social-emotional skills. By receiving this grant, these funds would build my students curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning by embedding science into early childhood education.
