One of my greatest passion as an educator is helping students develop a love of reading. I believe that reading is the foundation of all learning, and I strive to create a classroom environment where books are not just tools, but treasures. To do that, I need your help. This year I am planning several themed days for my class. Each theme day we will spend time enjoying books of a specific genre while enjoying some themed snacks. However, these amazing activities require items that are out of my budget. I would like to support my students' love of reading by purchasing books, book bins, bookshelves and classroom essentials that will help foster a positive and engaging learning space. Many of the items are aimed at encouraging independent reading, building a diverse classroom library, and supporting literacy-based activities.
