ur Journalism and Yearbook students are the storytellers of our school community. This grant will provide cameras and essential photography equipment so students can capture school events, athletic activities, classroom experiences, and everyday moments that make our school special. Students will learn hands-on skills in photography, composition, interviewing, visual storytelling, and digital media while creating meaningful content for our yearbook and school publications. Having reliable cameras will allow students to move beyond cell-phone photography and experience the tools and responsibilities of real-world journalism. The project will build confidence, creativity, teamwork, communication, and technology skills while giving students an authentic audience for their work. Most importantly, students will learn that their voices and perspectives matter as they document and preserve the memories of our school community.
