Our 5th grade class will run a student-led school store for the entire elementary school to teach financial literacy. Students will plan, budget, price, and sell items, rotating roles like managers, cashiers, and marketers to develop real-world money skills, teamwork, and leadership. Profits will help offset the cost of our 5th grade camp, giving students a meaningful financial goal. Younger students will practice spending wisely, and our class will reflect on budgeting, needs vs. wants, and giving. This hands-on project builds confidence, math skills, and responsibility while making financial education engaging and practical.
