Our special education program seeks funding for an iPad and subscriptions to deliver interactive, research-based literacy instruction. Many students have dyslexia, ADHD, or learning disabilities and need explicit, multi-sensory lessons aligned with the Science of Reading.The iPad will provide IMSE lessons and access to high-interest, low-level, decodable readers. Students will engage with phonics, spelling, and comprehension activities, read accessible texts, and use tools like text-to-speech to support independence.This device will be used in small groups and for independent practice, helping students build decoding skills, fluency, and confidence. Funding this request will give students equitable access to tools that close literacy gaps, improve engagement, and foster a love of learning.
