The 10th Grade AVID classroom is seeking funding to purchase games and activities for Choice Fridays and to help provide opportunities for students to visit colleges and explore their future educational options. Choice Fridays will provide students with structured opportunities to socialize with their classmates in a positive environment. Through board games, card games, team challenges, and other collaborative activities, students can practice important skills that extend beyond the classroom. These activities will encourage students to socialize, become more independent, communicate effectively, collaborate with others, problem solve, and build positive relationships with their peers. AVID focuses on preparing students for college and career success. Educational experiences outside the classroom can help students explore colleges, careers, museums, businesses, and other learning opportunities.
