This grant will create a comfortable, organized, and engaging learning environment for my second-grade students. Funds will provide a new classroom carpet for daily whole-group lessons, read-alouds, morning meetings, phonics instruction, and collaborative activities. This dedicated space will help students stay focused, participate in discussions, and learn from one another.Funds will also replenish essential supplies such as pencils, crayons, markers, glue, scissors, paper, folders, and notebooks. Storage bins will keep materials organized and easily accessible, allowing students to independently find and return supplies. Having the materials students need available each day will reduce interruptions and ensure every child can fully participate in classroom activities. This project will support student independence, engagement, collaboration, and academic success.
