Future Teachers in Training at the High School Level need a workspace for creating materials they will use in elementary classrooms throughout the district. These driven students will prepare materials for the classrooms and students they work with in their yearlong internships. Let's help them grow as educators!We need a workspace in the classroom for creating bulletin boards, math manipulatives, children's books, and community building activities. This will provide the storage needed for the many different items needed to effectively train future educators in areas of math, science, social studies and literacy. It is important to provide students with the materials in the high school classroom so they have the opportunity to strengthen their teaching skills before they head off to college. This space will offer the needed work area within a traditional classroom that has to serve as a future teacher workroom as well.
