Low Vision spotlight
As an Occupational Therapist it is my job to help people gain independence. Currently I am working in Mount Clemens School District where I service children with physical and developmental delays. We currently have a handful of children that have severe low vision. I would like to provide the opportunity to increase participation in school activities through manipulation of objects and visual forms. My project consists of purchasing table top light boards, translucent light pegs/pegboard, translucent letters and numbers, and translucent color chips. These items would be able to be used both during occupational therapy sessions and within the classroom. Thank you for your consideration!
