I am seeking funding to expand our existing "calm classroom" initiative, a critical component of our school's commitment to student well-being and academic success. This grant will enable the purchase of essential resources, including flexible seating options, calming lighting, and a diverse collection of social-emotional learning (SEL) books and posters. These additions will transform our current space into a more inclusive and supportive environment, helping students self-regulate, improve focus, and develop crucial emotional skills. By investing in our classroom, we are investing directly in our students' ability to thrive both academically and personally.
