Calculators become very expensive when you are buying a set for your whole classroom. Batteries go dead, calculators donât get returned, and unfortunately some get damaged. To solve some of these problems, I have decided to use a pocket chart that is labeled with numbers. This will help in many ways! When I take a quick glance at the chart, I will be able to see if any are missing. The pocket chart will help keep calculators in a safe padded space, not piled on top of one another or left on the floor. If I am one of the lucky winners, calculators will be purchased, pocket charts, and extra batteries.
