Our students were supposed to have a class pet but due to lack of knowledge and fear, we weren't allowed to have our baby corn snake. The students were really disappointed as they were eager to learn about reptile behaviors and habitat while caring for it. Live animals spark excitement and curiosity. The Reptarium is a local interactive reptile zoo that offers outreach educational programs. Our students could learn from these experts about the conservation efforts that zoos undertake to protect these animals. Many of our students even follow the Youtube channel of the founder Brian Barczyk.
