Students with special needs need to have a more functional, meaningful, and therapeutic sensory room. Currently there are minimal toys for them to play with but missing the gross motor, tactile, and physical equipment to help decompress or receive sensory input. We need a ball pit, a swing, stairs with a slide, tunnels to crawl or lay in. Weighted blankets, gymnastic mats or roll on both flat and angled, sound machine, riding toys, stationary bikes, balls to catch/throw.
