My proposed project aims to enhance the educational environment for low-income students by transforming a converted middle school science lab into a multifunctional classroom. This space will serve as an inclusive and resource-rich environment for students who lack access to essential educational supplies. The project encompasses two main objectives: providing necessary supplies for students and creating efficient storage solutions for their materials. Objective 1: Supply Provision 1. Essential Supplies: Our project seeks to equip the classroom with a range of essential supplies tailored to the needs of low-income students. These supplies will include: stationery, educational kits, math manipulatives, art supplies, and technology. These supplies will be selected based on an assessment of the most frequently required items by students.
