Through the implementation of virtual reality (VR), students would be able to take a deeper dive with language, Literature, and the Humanities (art, design, etc.) so they could build deeper connections between the content and the real world. Our students today are deeply, deeply connected to technology, so to help students engage with educational content, standards, and skills, VR will unlock new connections and help students retain critical content and content-related skills. Also, VR will help engage our students as well as make learning fun, innovative, and engaging. For example, when we about dystopias and their connections to our real world while revealing their warning for the future, Students would be able to immerse themselves into such dystopian texts like The Marrow Thieves, 1984, and The Hunger Games. Additionally, students would be able to immerse themselves in over 100+ museums without ever having to leave the classroom--a much needed tool for our Humanities classes!
