Page Panthers will take a look at how they can improve the natural world around them. This will include improving our green spaces, attracting native wildlife to the area, maintaining our native plant garden and creating spaces around Page that welcome and inform their peers of the natural world around them. If awarded the grant money will go towards funding our Ecology Club. This money will go towards funding field trips to local the nature center, hiring a guest speaker that will help inform the students on the power they have to make positive changes the world around them, and possible field trips to study the way other communities have brought about positive changes to their local ecosystems. Students in the ecology club will also identify one new project that will enrich our local ecosystem at Page. Such as building birdhouses to specific populations of birds the possibilities are endless and the money will go to students as they plan their new project.
