GLK-UAIS does not currently have a school store. My goal is to open up a school store giving students the opportunity to learn real-world skills such as marketing, operating a small business, finance, management, and other soft skills including teamwork, customer service and supply chain management. I would use the money to help reconstruct my classroom. Making the store the main focal point at the front of the room, while still maintaining a regular classroom towards the back. UAIS students are not able to participate in many CTE classes like a regular high schools because of the International Baccalaureate rigorous requirements and being located at a different building. Many students have expressed interest in learning and operating a school store.
