My project will transform the classroom into a dynamic, student-led, learning, and creative environment. By purchasing a flexible seat, lamps, and hands-on materials like yarn and magnets, students can design their ideal space and engage in creative, self-directed projects. Bi-weekly printed photos of students will foster a strong classroom culture, giving students pride in seeing themselves and their community. A diverse library of graphic novels and math adventure books will empower students to take ownership of their reading and learning. The newly created atmosphere, complete with tools like fidgets and chair bands, will help students learn to self-regulate and feel a sense of independence in their education.
