Obstacle Course Madness will provide resources to build obstacle courses where each student will be challenged at their own level. Students will learn and practice balance, coordination, motor planning and problem solving. Not all students like to play traditional sports; obstacle courses provide an alternate way to get all students moving and enjoying fitness based activities. Obstacle courses support children's strength and balance and motor skills (fine and gross motor) through running, jumping and throwing. As well as supporting physical development obstacle courses can help children with memory and problem solving by taking in and processing sequencing information and actions.
