Reading Intervention provides scientifically researched based supplemental instruction for children who are at risk of not meeting academic standards. Learning to code and decode is instrumental for learning how to read and write. Studies show that using manipulative's to assist with fine motor skills is key in the development of the brain. My classroom grant project is implementing a white board table with dry erase markers for students to utilize during lesson support. This would create a hands on learning tool while learning coding and decoding by being able to write, draw, and read directly on the table! This is an engaging part of lesson instruction that is fun and adaptive for all students at various intervention levels.
